Terms of Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use MythSmith. If you're under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission.

Everything on MythSmith (stories, scene art, scenarios, posts, and comments) is held to a 12+ rating.

You're responsible for whatever happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself and let us know right away if you think someone else has access to it.

One account per person. The information you give us when you sign up should be accurate.

Champion, Legend, and Mythic are billed monthly through the App Store or Google Play and renew automatically until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account settings on that store; you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Credits pay for scene art only — writing, continuing, and retrying a story turn are unlimited and free on every plan, Free included.

Scales are earned through the daily reward and tips from other players. They can't be bought, sold, or transferred for money, and have no cash value.

One-time credit packs don't expire and aren't tied to a subscription. Monthly credits from a plan reset each billing cycle and don't carry over.

All payments are handled by the App Store or Google Play, so refunds follow their policies, not ours — request one directly through whichever store you purchased from.

What you write — your characters, adventures, and story cards — is yours. By using MythSmith, you give us the license we need to store it, process it through our AI provider, and, if you choose to publish a scenario, display it to other players.

Publishing an adventure as a public scenario goes through AI moderation before it goes live. We can decline to publish, or remove, anything that violates these terms.

Community posts and comments are checked automatically before they're posted, and can be refused if they break the community guidelines.

MythSmith's storyteller is generative — its output is created dynamically in response to what you write, and it isn't reviewed line by line by a person before you see it. It can be unpredictable, and it can get things wrong.

The AI's output isn't fact, isn't our editorial position, and shouldn't be relied on outside the game. If something the AI generates violates the safety level you've set or crosses a line, report it — that helps us fix it.

Be a person you'd want to play with. Don't post or generate content that's illegal, harasses another player, or targets someone in real life.

MythSmith doesn't allow sexual content or nudity, sexual violence, or graphic gore anywhere — in stories, scene art, scenarios, posts, or comments — and doesn't write them at any safety level.

Respect the ratings on scenarios you didn't write — a Teen scenario can mean horror, crime, or darker themes than you might expect.

If someone is bothering you, block them from their profile, post, or comment, and report anything that crosses the line.

Report anything that crosses the line rather than letting it sit — reports get reviewed.

In multiplayer adventures you're responsible for what you write into a shared story, and the host can end a session or change its join code.

Tips are voluntary gifts of Scales to a creator; they are final and not refundable.

Don't try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer MythSmith, or access it through anything other than the app or website we provide.

Don't scrape, resell, or redistribute other players' content or MythSmith's own without permission.

Don't impersonate another person, or use the service to generate content whose purpose is to harm or defraud someone.

You can delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion is permanent.

We can suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, especially anything involving illegal content, harassment, or abuse of the service.

MythSmith is provided as-is. We work to keep it running well, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or exactly what you expect from a generative system every time.

To the extent the law allows, MythSmith isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Nothing here limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

If these terms change in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use MythSmith after a change means you accept the update.
