What do credits actually pay for?
Story turns and scene art. A turn on GPT-6 Luna costs 1 credit; GPT-6.1 Sol costs 5, plus a little more for long stories and longer replies. Images cost 5 to 27 credits depending on the model. Continue and Retry are turns too, so they use credits the same way.
Do higher plans use a smarter AI?
No — every plan runs on the same storyteller model. What paid plans buy is a wider context window and more memory slots, so the AI can hold more of your world in mind at once, plus credits for scene art.
What is a context window, in plain terms?
How much of your story the AI can read before writing the next line. At 4k tokens it works from recent scenes; at 32k it can weigh a much longer stretch of history, so callbacks and long-game consequences land more reliably.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel from account settings and you keep access until the end of the billing period. Downgrading changes nothing about your saves: worlds, story cards, and history all stay put.
