An AI RPG game with no class list and no level cap
Play any character you can describe, in any world you can describe, and let the AI handle everyone else in it.
A roleplaying game without the character sheet
Most RPGs start by asking you to choose from a menu: pick a race, pick a class, spend your points. Those menus exist because the game has to know in advance which of its pre-built systems your character is allowed to touch.
A text based RPG driven by AI does not need the menu. You describe who you are — a disgraced court composer, a courier who has never once been late, a lighthouse keeper on a world with no sea — and that is your character. There is no class that fails to cover it, because nothing was built in advance to cover.
The world plays too
The AI is not just describing scenery. It is running the people in it: what the guard captain believes about you, what the rival house does while you are away, which promise someone is quietly about to break.
That means the world moves on its own clock. Spend three scenes in a library and you come out to a city that changed while you read. Roleplay a character who lies constantly and eventually you meet someone who has noticed.
Any genre, one game
Because the setting is written rather than shipped, one AI RPG covers what would otherwise be a dozen games: high fantasy, grimdark, cyberpunk, cosmic horror, a wandering-merchant story with no combat in it at all, a slice-of-life run in a town where nothing much happens on purpose.
Tone and safety controls set how dark or how gentle a world gets, and you can move them mid-campaign when the story turns.
What you get
No class menu
Describe a character in a sentence and play it. Nothing is off the list, because there is no list.
NPCs with memory
People remember how you treated them and act on it later, without being scripted to.
Consequences that stick
What you broke stays broken. The world tracks the state you left it in.
Tone controls
Dial a world from cosy to grim, and change your mind halfway through.
Solo, any time
No party to schedule and no session to wait for — a turn takes as long as you have.
Free tier, real game
The free plan plays the same RPG. Paid plans widen memory and context.
Questions, answered.
Is there combat, or is it only conversation?
Both, and the fight is narrated rather than resolved on a grid. You describe what you attempt, and the storyteller decides what it costs you — which means a fight can be won by talking, running, or setting the room on fire.
Can I play an existing character of mine?
Yes. Describe them in the opening, or pin their details with a story card so the details stay consistent for the rest of the campaign.
Is this multiplayer?
MythSmith is a single-player AI RPG today — one player, one world, and an AI running everyone else in it.
What makes it an RPG rather than a chatbot?
Persistent world state. Characters, places and events are tracked between turns rather than re-improvised each message, so the world you return to is the one you left.
